Ofrezco lecciones de piano adaptadas a todos los niveles en París o en los suburbios cercanos (fuera de París + gastos de viaje).

Mis lecciones se enfocan en el aspecto divertido y entretenido de aprender a tocar el piano, siempre manteniendo el rigor, la lógica y la comprensión de lo que sucede con el instrumento y con la postura.

Como pianista, especializada en acompañamiento de danza y concertista, he impartido clases de piano tanto en el sector privado como en el conservatorio, y siempre estoy buscando el programa que pueda motivar al alumno mientras lo hace progresar.

Podemos trabajar en improvisación, repertorio, formación musical ... dependiendo de lo que busques.

Estudié para ello:

-Una licencia en piano clásico, con opción a música contemporánea.
-Una especialización como concertista en la Escuela de Música Alfred Cortot de París.
-Una licenciatura en música y musicología de La Sorbonne.
-El máster en música y musicología de La Sorbonne.

Para progresar bien es imprescindible disponer de un piano acústico o digital (te puedo dar información sobre eso, con mucho gusto), una libreta para anotar las actividades y / o seguimiento, una libreta de pentagramas, y para las partituras, será a ver juntos.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student.

My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

La flexibilidad es la característica principal de mis clases: mi objetivo es darles a mis alumnos lo que necesitan con un método dinámico que se ajuste a su personalidad y a su propio estilo de aprendizaje. Ofrezco clases individuales y privadas a grupos de todas las edades y la duración de la clase es también flexible, porque depende sobretodo de la edad del alumno (los más pequeños suelen aprovechar mejor clases de media hora). En todas las clases está presente el lenguaje y la teoría musical, pero de una forma orgánica e inmersa en la práctica.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag.

For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades.

After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too.

Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G.

Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory.

The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers.

For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Als pianolerares beschik ik over een sterk muzikaal gehoor, uitgebreide pianovaardigheden en een brede kennis van muziek en muziektheorie. Dankzij mijn ervaring als muziekleraar kan ik leerlingen op een duidelijke, gestructureerde en inspirerende manier begeleiden in hun muzikale ontwikkeling. Ik lees vlot van blad (zichtlezen) en kan muziek snel analyseren en uitleggen, wat mij helpt om leerlingen efficiënt en doelgericht te ondersteunen tijdens hun leerproces.

In mijn lessen combineer ik technische ontwikkeling met muzikaal begrip en expressie. Geduld, duidelijke communicatie en een positieve leeromgeving zijn voor mij essentieel. Elke leerling is anders, daarom werk ik met een persoonlijke aanpak waarbij ik aandacht heb voor het tempo, het niveau en de doelen van elke student. Mijn sterke motiverende vaardigheden helpen leerlingen om vertrouwen te krijgen in hun spel en om plezier te blijven beleven aan het leren van muziek.

Een belangrijk onderdeel van mijn werk als pianolerares is het herkennen van de sterke en zwakke punten van mijn leerlingen. Ik help hen om hun techniek te verbeteren, hun muzikaliteit te verdiepen en hun zelfvertrouwen aan het instrument te versterken.

De voornaamste taak in mijn pianolessen is om leerlingen te motiveren en enthousiast te maken voor het pianospelen. Ik wil dat leerlingen niet alleen leren spelen, maar ook een echte liefde voor muziek ontwikkelen. Daarom besteed ik aandacht aan zowel technische vaardigheden als muzikale interpretatie en luistervaardigheid.

Tijdens de lessen werk ik systematisch aan de ontwikkeling van de hand- en vingertechniek. Dit gebeurt onder andere door gerichte oefeningen zoals toonladders, arpeggio’s, akkoordstructuren en andere technische oefeningen die helpen om flexibiliteit, kracht en controle in de vingers op te bouwen. Daarnaast begeleid ik leerlingen bij het correct lezen van noten, ritmebegrip, dynamiek, frasering en muzikale expressie.

Ik ontwikkel en gebruik ook aangepast lesmateriaal en oefeningen die aansluiten bij het niveau en de vooruitgang van de leerling. Door regelmatig de oefeningen en technieken na te kijken en bij te sturen, zorg ik ervoor dat leerlingen een solide technische en muzikale basis opbouwen.

Naast het leren spelen van bestaande muziekstukken besteed ik ook aandacht aan het begrijpen van muziek. Daarom krijgen leerlingen in mijn lessen ook elementen van muziektheorie mee, zodat ze beter begrijpen hoe muziek is opgebouwd. Dit helpt hen om zelfstandiger te oefenen, sneller nieuwe muziek te leren en een dieper inzicht in muziek te ontwikkelen.

Bij pianoles gebruiken wij de boekmethode van Hal Leonard (Kinderen onder 8 het Les- en Speelboek).
Alles wordt stap voor stap uitgelegd en gaandeweg leer je noten lezen en piano leren kennen.
