Hallo daar! Altijd al dwarsfluit willen leren of heb je juist zin om dit prachtige instrument weer op te pakken na een pauze? Als docent met meer dan 6 jaar ervaring bied ik privélessen aan voor alle leeftijden en alle niveaus. Ik heb mijn lesvaardigheden geleerd van beroemde dwarsfluit-pedagogen van deze tijd. Ik heb ervaring met lesgeven aan zowel kinderen als volwassenen en ik vind het essentieel dat we allebei plezier hebben terwijl we zoiets geweldigs leren als muziek spelen! De lessen worden aangepast aan uw behoeften en we zullen samen uw muzikaliteit en technische vaardigheden ontwikkelen. Naast Klassieke muziek kunnen we als daar behoefte voor is ook werken aan andere muziekstijlen. Zo ben ik bekend met Braziliaanse volkmuziek, Barokmuziek, Moderne Muziek en Jazz. Ook is het mogelijk om academische ondersteuning te vragen bij het instrument, muziektheorie of geschiedenis. Lessen kunnen in het Engels en in het Nederlands. Als je zelf nog geen instrument hebt, kan ik wat suggesties geven over waar en hoe je er een kunt vinden/huren - aarzel niet om contact met me op te nemen als je interesse hebt. Diplômé en France pour une formation classique, je vous propose des cours de flûtes traversières (du piccolo à l'octobasse en passant par basse et alto!). Le contenu des cours sera adapté aux besoins de chacun(e). Je pratique l'improvisation depuis pas mal d'années, la musique brésilienne (choro) est une des mes spécialités. Je joue également dans l'Orchestre de Flûtes Français, et je partage avec plaisir mes pratiques et recherches sonores tels multiphoniques, flûte et voix, respiration circulaire, whistle tones et autres flatterzung! Du solfège sera tout naturellement enseigné si besoin. Je peux donner les cours en français, portugais (Brésil), anglais.

Mijn flute-lessen zijn beschikbaar in een flexibele tijdsduur van 30 minuten tot 1 uur, met een frequentie van wekelijks of om de twee weken, afhankelijk van jouw voorkeur. Als afgestudeerd fluitist met een bachelor en master aan het conservatorium, waarbij lesgeven een belangrijk onderdeel van mijn opleiding was, heb ik zowel ervaring met groepslessen als individuele lessen. Mijn methode is gericht op enthousiasme voor muziek en fluitspel, waarbij ik elke leerling verwelkom, ongeacht achtergrond, taal of niveau. Iedereen is welkom om zijn of haar muzikale reis met mij te beginnen!

Hi, my name is Galit and I am a professional recorder player. I have been performing in various ensembles and venues around Europe and Israel, playing baroque, medieval, renaissance and contemporary music which is the vast repertoire of the recorder. I graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. I have been teaching in various platforms for over 20 years and I adapt the lessons to your needs, wishes and level. During our lessons I will teach you the skill set of mastering the recorder. Obtaining good technique, working on good posture and healthy breathing along side learning about the instrument and it's history. Learning to play the recorder is an opportunity to expend your horizons, be creative and learn the art of listening. I teach from international method books and adjust my methods to the individual needs of each student. Taking two courses of the Alexander technique also helped me to develop an understanding of the essential connection between the body and our minds. This awareness can be very helpful not only for our musical performances, but also for our everyday lives. If you're interested in learning saxophone, flute, and/or music theory, improvisation, or musical composition, I'm offering private lessons. I've been working as a professional musician for over 20 years. My specialties include free improvisation and jazz but I've performed in everything ranging from symphony orchestra's to DJs at venues including the Lincoln Center in NYC, North Sea Jazz Festival and the London Jazz Festival to name just a few. I've also taught at international schools and have successfully helped students progress through the Trinity music system. I have a studio in my house so lessons are possible here or at your place. All ages and levels are welcome!

Hi, I am Thore. I’m a German Bachelors degree flute student at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen. During my studies here I could and still can gather a lot of knowledge about methodology and pedagogy and could already make a few teaching experiences. For me teaching means learning from each other. Thus the student of course gets insight to my knowledge about music and instrumental technique but I will also learn a lot from the student about the individual factors of flute playing and music making in general. In my lessons I focus a lot on breathing and posture because for me these two are the most influential factors to healthy and beautiful playing. I am also open to incorporating the students musical interests e.g. Disney- and Pop-songs. Lessons can be conducted in Dutch, English and German.

Je donne des cours de flûte traversière pour tous les âges (de préférence sur flûte à bec ou fifre/picco si vous débutez avant 7 ans), flûte à bec, piano et théorie. Vous pouvez venir dans mon studio ou je peux venir chez vous Vous n'habitez pas à Amsterdam ou vous venez rarement ? Ensuite, un mélange d'en ligne et de face à face est possible. Au fil des années, j'ai construit un parcours pour mes élèves qui respecte le développement technique et le désir de s'exprimer et de s'amuser avec l'instrument. Dans un premier temps, à chaque rencontre, je donne les outils et les connaissances pour maîtriser un aspect de l'instrument. Le but de cette phase est de rendre l'élève techniquement indépendant en peu de temps, afin qu'il puisse jouer à tout moment et choisir lui-même ce qu'il veut jouer. On découvre le monde de l'improvisation dès que possible pour utiliser l'instrument pour l'expression de soi. Et croyez-moi, vous pouvez faire de la musique avec une seule note ! † La théorie joue un rôle essentiel dans la leçon et a sa propre place. Je guide mes élèves pour qu'ils comprennent la musique comme un beau langage. Les pièces que nous jouons sont souvent soutenues par une introduction avec une histoire sur leur origine. Je crois que faire de la musique peut développer de grandes qualités chez une personne de tout âge : la capacité d'écoute, la capacité de sentir le corps, de mieux identifier et vivre les émotions, et le sens du temps.

Hello everybody, I am Reiko. I teach flute and baroque transverse flute. The flute is a well-known, popular instrument, but what is a baroque transverse flute!? It is a wooden flute that was played in the 17th and the 18th centuries (roughly) in Europe, so if you are curious how the pieces of J. S. Bach or G. F. Handel sounded at the time they were composed, you can take lessons with baroque transverse flute! Ever since I first encountered the flute, in my elementary school in Japan, it has been the biggest passion of my life. I studied modern flute and other historical flutes in Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo, Japan, then there followed a Master’s degree in Early Music from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Playing the flute is fun and discovering beautiful music through the flute is a wonderful experience. I would like to guide you to find the best way for you. I work with young people and older adults, beginners, and experienced musicians. -Experiment and Explore- In my lessons, I teach/explain the basics, then students begin experimenting, with my help. How to hold a flute, breathe, practice – to discover what is comfortable and works well for each person. How to use the body and how to approach the music. And we will explore the Why together. Are you telling a story with the piece? What are you expressing with a flute? Can you learn something about yourself with this practice? I will help you while you learn. I am your guide and your coach, and I go with you towards your goal. Do you think you don’t have time to learn to play the flute? Don’t be afraid to try it first; you can always start. You can always stop. You think you don’t have time to practice, but there are moments every day – just 20 minutes is enough – to improve on your own over time, and I will show you how. Enjoy the flute bit by bit. Bonus: We can play together, in person, or even via zoom. I call it “zoom karaoke.” Playing together gives your learning a boost.

Lessons are individually and carefully adapted to the student’s age, level, and desired outcome. From the youngest students, to whom the music and playing the basics are served playfully based on making the music an important part of their development to advanced students with whom we can refine all the musical details and prepare for professional careers.
