I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

The most important thing for me is that we have fun while learning – that makes everything a lot more fun! In the lessons I am happy to help you with your questions about Dutch grammar and we can work together on your speaking, writing and/or listening skills. Do you have homework that you need help with? That is of course also possible! Let me know what level you are at now and what you would like to learn. TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SERVICE OF LEARNING. Hello, My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literature since 2012. I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years. The course includes: -The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it. -Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs). -Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone. -A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson. -If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners). -Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent. -Motivation, laughter, good humor :-) My method: -It is oral based. -For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated. -We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-) -Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students. -The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam. I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
